M-104 "Sombrero Galaxy"
M-104 has long been a favorite galaxy of amateurs.  It is relatively bright and provides a good image.   Unfortunately for me it's negative declination puts it lower in the sky and closer to my light pollution.    I can image the dust band and bright central core, but have difficulty pulling the faint halo out of the background light.
