M-53 Globular Cluster
M-53  is about 15 degrees west of Arcturus and about one degree up and to the left of the 4.2 magnitude star Alpha Coma Berenices.   It is about 2/3 the diameter of M-13, the large globular cluster in Hercules.  It is also about two magnitudes dimmer, but you can still see it in a small scope.  I could see it clearly in my 90 mm guide scope even under hazy skies.   For a really good view you should use a 8"-10" scope.
