M-58
is a very nice barred spiral galaxy. Even the f3.3 image shows
the bar. The central core is very bright, so it is difficult to capture
the spiral structure without over exposing the central regions.

I only live a few miles from Dulles International Airport, so I guess I should expect a few of my Astro Images to capture an Aircraft in the landing pattern. This one almost bisected M-58. |
