This image was taken using the Meade f3.3 focal reducer on my 8" f10 LX 200.    Using this focal reduce with my JMI NGF-S motofocuser results in a focal ratio of about f4.6.   The image is a composite of two 10 minute exposures autoguided with the STAR 2000..  They were first color converted with the Starlight Express Pixcolm5 software, combined in MaxIm DL and then further processed  in Photoshop.   Total exposure is 20 minutes.  Click here to go back.
