M-79 Globular Cluster 
M-79 is a bright globular in the constellation Lepus.  The stars of Lepus are dimmer than magnitude 2.0 and the constellation is low in the south for northern observers.  The star Arneb is about 17 degrees west of the very bright star Sirus.  If you can find Arneb in binoculars, you should be able to find M-79 as shown onthe finder chart.
