This image was taken at the prime focus of my 8" f10 LX 200.    This is a 35 minute exposure generated using the MX-5C and the STAR 2000 auto-tracker.   One 5 minute and three 10 minute exposures were combined in MaxIm DL and further processed in Photoshop.   All color conversion was accomplished in the STAR 2000 software.  At magnitude 13.3, it is very dim and difficult to image.    It is slightly larger than the  planet Jupiter appears to be.   Click here to go back.
