NGC 2024 "Flame" Nebula

NGC 2024 is a large object with low surface brightness.  It should be difficult to see in amateur scopes because of the low surface brightness.   It's center is only about 15 arcmin from the lower left star in Orion's belt (Alnitak).  This is the bright blue star in the film image.
