NGC 2392 "Eskimo Nebula" |
|
This image was taken at the prime focus of my 8" f10 LX 200. The 21 minute exposure was generated using the MX-5C track and accumulate function plus additional image merging and blending in Photoshop. Although the nebula is fairly bright, the small size (19.5 arc sec) makes it a difficult object to image. It is about 1/2 th diameter of the planet Jupiter. My next project is to attempt to image it at f20. Click here to go back. |
