NGC 925 in Triangulum

NGC 925 is visible in an 8" scope, but to see it well you'll need a much larger scope.  The drawings shown in the Dec 99 Sky & Telescope article were made using a 20 inch scope.  NGC 925 is one of the galaxies being observed under the HST Key Project  on the Extragalactic Distance Scale.  This project will help determine the value of the Hubble Constant.
