This image was taken using the Meade f3.3 focal reducer and the 15 mm extension ring on my 8" f10 LX 200.    Using this focal combination I obtain an effective focal ratio of about f4.8.   The image is a composite of seven 20 minute exposures  They were first color converted with Astro Art V2 and then further processed  in Photoshop.  Total exposure is 140 minutes.  Click here to go back.
