This image was taken using the Meade f3.3 focal reducer on my 8" f10 LX 200.    Using this focal reduce with my JMI NGF-S motofocuser results in a focal ratio of about f4.   The image is a composite of several individual images.  They were first combined with the Starlight Express Pixcolm5 software and then further processed  in Photoshop.   This galaxy is coming close to being edge-on, but not quite.   Total exposure is 34 minutes.  Click here to go back.
