This photo was taken with my Nikon film back attached to the Orion MAK 500.  The field of view is about 4 degrees wide by 2.7 degrees high.     The exposure was guided by the STAR 2000 operating through the MX-5C.  It was taken at the same time as the f6.6 image was taken.  Stars down to about magnitude 12 are captured.  Total exposure is 10 minutes.  Click here to go back.
