This is a short three frame animation showing the motion of Pluto during a three day period in Jun 2001.  Each image was taken around midnight, so the time period for the movement is just about 24 hours.  Pluto is the star that moves horizontally from frame to frame.  In the second frame it move just above one of the stars.   Click here to go back.
