M-102 Galaxy in Draco

M-102 is a very nice edge on galaxy in the constellation Draco.   It is well suited for observers in the northern hemisphere, and because of the high declination, it is a nice object to view when the moon is out.   The moon stays on the Earths equator at declination 0 so never gets very close to M-102.   There is a very distinctive dust lane across the bright center of the galaxy.
