Mercury Images |
Well, it took me about seven years of
astro imagining, but I finally got a picture of Mercury. Getting
this image reminded me of trying to read the inscription on a button you had
just dropped into the toilet bowl, while pressing the flush handle.
If you look for Mercury near the date of maximum elongation and use binoculars, it is pretty easy to see, but it is always low on the horizon and turbulence from the atmosphere makes it very difficult to image. |
