This image was taken using the Meade f3.3 focal reducer and the 15 mm extender ring on my 8" f10 LX 200.    Using this combination results in a focal ratio of about f4.6.   The image is a composite of four individual images.  They were first color converted with the Starlight Xpress STAR 2000 software, added with MaxImDL software and then further processed  in  Photoshop.   Total exposure is 35 minutes.  Click here to go back.
