NGC 660  Galaxy
NGC 660 is classified as a "polar ring" galaxy.  We believe that the galaxy was formed by the collision of two galaxies.  At magnitude 12, the bright central area should be visible using averted vision in 8-10 inch scopes as a very dim patch, if you can get to a dark sky location.  You will need a much larger scope to see any detail.
