Venus Events
The tables and charts on this page show various events associated with the Planet Venus over the next 20 years.  Of these the Maximum Brilliance Table and the Moon Separation are probably the most interesting.  At maximum brilliance you should be able to see Venus in the daytime with binoculars.  On the dates on minimum Moon separation, Venus and the Moon should be within the diameter of the moon from each other.  Venus may even disappear behind the Moon.  Either occurrence should make an interesting astro photo.  The maximum elongation table lists dates when Venus has the greatest angular separation from the Sun and the minimum distance table list dates when Venus is the closest to the Earth.
