This image was taken using the Meade f3.3 focal reducer on my 8" f10 LX 200.    Using this focal reduce with my JMI NGF-S motofocuser results in a focal ratio of about f4.   The image is a composite of several individual images.  They were first combined with the Starlight Express Pixcolm5 software and then further processed  in Photoshop.   Total exposure is 45 minutes.  High clouds kept interfering the night this image was taken, so additional images were required to bring out the galaxy.
